GRACE KIM

Grace Kim uses photography, moving image and sound installations to explore subliminal constructs of time, existence and memory. Often echoing themes of quantum theory and buddhist philosophy, her work is a personal inquiry into the nature/perception of reality, and the physical, psychological and spiritual dialogues that inform it. In Berlin she is imagining an existential, poetic landscape where different narratives of time, geography and consciousness coexist.

Grace studied at the School of Visual Arts and International Center of Photography in New York, and is currently an MA candidate in philosophy and media studies at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. She is also a Reiki healer and one half of the interventionist collective Time and Space Died Yesterday, which manifests poetic acupuncture in urban landscapes around the world.
